Wine

We stock a great selection of wines.  As we are an independent store we have taken great care in sourcing wine from dedicated producers.  If you are having trouble choosing or would like a specific wine for a meal then just ask, our staff have tasted all the wines we sell.  

If we stock it, we’ve drunk it!

Beer

We stock a great selection of Cornish Ales and Beers.  The most famous of which is ‘Spingo’ from the Blue Anchor in Helston.  The art of brewing ale was once widespread in Cornwall and many Inns brewed their own beer. At the start of the 17th Century, when the population of Helston was just 300, there were an amazing 30 ale houses brewing their own beer!  Today there are only four in the whole of Great Britain, and the Blue Anchor is the oldest.

Cider, Aval and Sparkling Elderflower

We also stock a range of Cornish dry, sparkling and flavoured ciders from a number of local artisan producers including Polgoon and Helford Creek.

Cornish Mead

Mead is a traditional British drink  made from fermented honey.  We stock mead from the fantastic Ninemaidens who are expert mead makers.  Ninemaidens have combined a wealth of experience in the field of honey production with a longstanding family tradition of brewing country wines to bring you a drink of the highest quality.
